Attention Adult learners!

There's a daytime slot available for any adults interested in learning Piano.

Anyone who has been watching this page lately will have noticed the lack of available spaces, so this is a rare opportunity.
If you are a beginner, or perhaps want rekindle or brush up on your existing skills, do get in touch!

Welcome back!

Welcome back everyone. Hope you had a great summer holiday.
If you've forgotten what middle C looks like and can't remember your Chopin from your Chick Corea, you're probably not alone. There'll be a few rusty pupils today. Maybe you had good intentions but the weather, the beach - time just slipped by. Don't panic.

You'll soon get back into the daily routine of practice.

Need some inspiration?

Here's some Bill Evans; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tLm-k05j_V4&list=PLrQpK27RKimwUPn0q7ePFdVRvnQmFE0dL

Or how about some Evgeny Kissin, performing works by Chopin and Schubert, amongst others; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8WDU14w_AZc&frags=pl%2Cwn

Have a good term!

Vacancies

I am currently fully booked for September, although this may change. Watch this page for updates from August 5th onwards.

Happy holidays

Hello all

It's been a long term and I think we're all ready for a well earned rest.

Congratulations to everyone who passed their Piano exams this term, not to mention those who performed in the various concerts and festivals. Getting out there and sharing our music is what it's all about.

I wish you all a very safe and happy Summer break, and look forward to seeing you all in September.

Why do Pianos have 88 Keys?

This is a question I get asked a lot. Classic FM has a very useful answer.
